MOSCOW, Jul 3 (PRIME) -- Russia's Federal Antimonopoly Service has initiated a case against Procter&Gamble Distributing Company for the difference in quality between the laundry pods sold in Russia and the E.U., Deputy Director of the authority Andrei Kashevarov told PRIME on Friday.
“The Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia has initiated a case against Procter&Gamble Distributing Company over the traits of violation of law On the Protection of Competition. The company did not comply with a notification calling for a stop of such activities," Kaskevarov said.
The service detected difference in the quality of the Ariel, Persil products and chocolate Lindt between the Russian and E.U. samples in December and postponed the deadline for elimination of the differences several times since then.
The antimonopoly case envisages a fine of up to 500,000 rubles.
